This Raymond Floyd designed course is truly a one-of-a-kind course. Opened in 2004, the par 72 course offers a unique “19th hole”. The island style green par 3 is only 99 yards but poses as a tough challenge and is a perfect way to either settle a wager with a playing partner or simply enjoy a challenge after your round is over. Playing at 7,400 yards from the tips, Old Palm offers six tees on every hole.
The course is like a tale of two courses. The front 9 plays like a classic open Florida golf course with wide fairways, while the back holes seem more like a North Carolina course with its canopy of towering pines. Old Palm offers a no tee time policy, offering its members the opportunity to play when they want.
Members of Old Palm can take advantage of private golf lessons with Head Pro Mark Hackett and special clinics with Director of Golf, Bud Taylor. Mark Hackett is one of the Top 100 golf teachers in the country. Hacket and his staff of PGA golf instructors also offer weekly practice sessions for men, women, and mixed couples.
Beginners can learn the game by practicing at the Old Palm Golf Studio, which offers a practice driving area and even has three holes that replicate the conditions on the main course.
Also featured at Old Palm Golf Club is a full service spa and fitness center as well as several dining options in the clubhouse area.
Memberships range from $21,000 to $175,000 depending on level and equity options. For more information on membership options call Old Palm Golf Club at (888) 698-2565 or visit oldpalmgolfclub.com.
